Player Pool list was updated 6/10/25

3/26/25......2025 Season is scheduled to start on May 5th for the 35+ Division and May 6th for the 25+ Division. 

League Meeting scheduled for April 2st at 6:30pm and The Ballpark in OOB.

2/27/21.....Welcome to the SMMBL 2021. The plan this year is to resume a full League schedule starting on May 10th. Anyone interested in being a part of the League, sign up to play using the tab at the top of the page.

5/7/2020.....The SMMBL is hopeful to be playing baseball this summer. The COVID-19 Pandemic has pushed Opening Day for both the 25+ and 35+ divisions to tentative dates of June 14th and June 15th respectively. The League is discussing procedures to comply with State and National guidelines.

The SMMBL is looking to make some changes to the league structure in 2020:

1. We would like to form a taxi squad from our player pool list. This would allow potential players not selected for a team to be eligble to play games during the year. We are working out the details of how this will be carried out.

2. We are changing the 25+ division to allow three players ages 22-24 on their rosters. This will increase the availability to players and also allow players right out of college a place to play baseball in Southern Maine.
